Back in 2000I’ve been a Buzz Lightyear fan since I saw the first Toy Story in 1995. I bought my first Buzz collectible in 1996 on my honeymoon at Disney World in Orlando, Florida. I’ve been collecting ever since. This blog is my way of paying homage to an excellent character.
The goal is to post one piece per day. Most of the work will be done by myself, but will be supplemented by readers and featured artists.
The whole family in 2010People always ask me, “Why Buzz?” when they see my collection. I simply answer, “Why do people collect Hello Kitty, or other movie memorabilia?” I just like the character. I like his shape, his color, his story, his voice… I even love him when he’s dressed as Mrs. Nesbit. Nuff said.
